R&D in FSBI "NMRC RB" of the Ministry of Health of Russia is carried out within the frames of scientific platforms approved by the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia of 30.04.2013 No. 281 "On approval of scientific platforms of medical science" and under the assignment of the Department of organization of medical care and sanatorium-and-health-resort activities of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

1. Development of methodology of differentiated local application of active agents (medicines, medical ozone, essential oils) for medical and rehabilitation purposes and sanatorium-and-health-resort conditions in lumbosacral dorsopathies.
2. Development of innovative technology in rehabilitation and scientific evidence for the application of bioactive bioplastic material based on a soluble form of stabilized extracellular matrix for reconstructive and restorative surgery.
3. Development of innovative technology and scientific evidence for the application of low-intensity physical factors to enhance the regenerative potential of the stromal-vascular fraction of adipose tissue in the experiment on the animal model of a thermal burn.
4. Development of technology and scientific evidence for the application of innovative methods for the correction of biomarkers of aging.
5. Development of innovative technology and scientific evidence for the application of a comprehensive rehabilitation programme for oncological patients with peripheral polyneuropathy induced by chemotherapy.
6. Development of personalized programmes of sanatorium-and-health-resort treatment of patients with infectious-inflammatory diseases of the male reproductive system complicated by the erectile dysfunction.
7. Development of information technology and scientific evidence for the application of remote monitoring of patients in the conditions of sanatorium-and-health-resort organizations.
8. Development and scientific evidence for the application of personalized programmes of medical rehabilitation of patients with post-thrombotic syndrome of the lower extremities using natural and preformed physical factors.
9. Development and scientific evidence for the application of natural and preformed therapeutic factors in the programme of sanatorium-and-health-resort treatment of women of reproductive age with recurrent antibiotic-resistant urogenital infections.
10. Development of innovative technology and scientific socioeconomic evidence for the application of a programme of complex medical and psychological rehabilitation of patients with ischaemic stroke in sanatorium-and-health-resort organizations.
11. Development of digital technologies of bioclimatic forecasting and microclimatic zoning to improve the effectiveness and safety of the Terrainkur impact on the cardiovascular system in the treatment of patients with excessive body weight.
12. Development and scientific evidence for the application of comprehensive medical rehabilitation programmes for patients with respiratory diseases, including those who have suffered from the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, using VR technologies, biofeedback mechanotherapy and cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy.
