Mikhail Murashko visited the Republic of Tyva as part of his working trip. Together with the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, leading professionals of the Ministry of Health of Russia and heads of federal centres came to Tyva. They made an assessment of the organization of health care for the population and also gave recommendations to improve the efficiency of health care institutions.

Anatoly Fesyun, Acting director of the National Medical Research Centre for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, as a member of the delegation learned more about the work of the rehabilitation department of Republican Hospital No. 1.

In addition, Anatoly Fesyun visited "Serebryanka" health and recreation centre, where at the meeting he told the employees about modern trends in medical rehabilitation and spa treatment, as well as acquainted them with the new regulatory and legal framework of the health resort industry within the framework of Federal Law No. 469-ФЗ "On amendments to the Federal Law "On natural medicinal resources, health and recreation areas and resorts" adopted by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on 4 August 2023.

In addition, Anatoly Fesyun and Maxim Yakovlev, deputy director for strategic development of medical activities of the National Medical Research Centre for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, discussed with the medical staff of "Serebryanka" health and recreation centre various methods of operation of medical equipment, keeping track of it and maintaining medical records. Following a two-day visit to the Republic of Tyva by Mikhail Murashko, the Minister of Health of Russia, and the heads of the country's leading research medical organizations, an extended meeting was held in the regional government attended by the Head of the Republic Vladislav Khovalyg, senior staff of the regional Ministry of Health and chief physicians of the republic's medical organizations.

Anatoly Fesyun made a report on the pressing issues of medical rehabilitation in the Republic of Tyva. The report presented an analysis of the activities of the regional health care institutions in the field of "medical rehabilitation", assessed their work in this area and pointed out the issues that need to be addressed urgently, in terms of methodological or organizational measures.

The results of the expert work of the heads of Russia's leading medical centres will serve to form a number of documents, including a list of measures. As the Head of the Tyva Republic Vladislav Khovalyg specified, there will be two roadmaps drawn up. He also noted the importance of the fact that a highly qualified team from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation had undertaken work with healthcare institutions in Tyva.

"Your comments and suggestions are very important for us, they help us to set priorities for solving current problems, and I will take personal control over their elimination. In general, the Republic is ready to mobilize all available resources to address the challenges in the field of health protection set by the country's leadership. And the arrival of the head of the Ministry and a large highly qualified team of the federal Ministry of Health to the Republic will help us to move forward," Vladislav Khovalyg emphasized.
