Doctors of the Republican Clinical Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre "Centre of Oriental Medicine" from Ulan-Ude paid a working visit to NMRC for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of Russia to study advanced technologies, different aspects of work of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, medical records management and cooperation.

During the visit, the doctors learned about the organization of the treatment and diagnostic process and the availability of modern equipment.

"We visited your Centre in 2016. In eight years it has developed greatly in terms of advanced rehabilitation technologies, not only in Russia, but also in the world. I am impressed! All these innovative technologies are available for patients from all regions of our country. We have paid special attention to the methods of managing severe patients who arrive here and are amazed at the treatment results they get thanks to the modern approaches you use. And it is these technologies that we would like to adopt. I am glad that we have agreed on cooperation, on internships and advanced training of our specialists under the guidance of your doctors," said Elena Bartanova, Acting Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre "Centre of Oriental Medicine".

Natalia Tumanova, Ph.D. (Medicine), Clinical Pharmacologist, Head of the Department for Analyzing Drug Supply and Turnover of Medical Devices at the National Medical Centre for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, gave a tour of the Centre to the guests from Buryatia. According to her, one of the main objectives of the meeting was to explain the specifics of working with medical documentation in accordance with modern legislation.

"The correct completion of primary medical documentation is a very important task. There are a lot of innovations in filling out a patient's medical history related to the procedure for organizing medical rehabilitation, which was approved in 2020. Our Centre is now in the process of rolling out this practice to all medical institutions. We were happy to share our experience with our guests. Such interaction is a pledge of our common development and expansion of opportunities to help our patients regain their health! We hope for good friendship and fruitful co-operation with our colleagues from Buryatia, which is incredibly beautiful and rich in natural therapeutic resources! “ - Natalia Tumanova explained.
