  • preclinical studies of the mechanisms of action of various natural therapeutic resources to treat and prevent the development of chronic non-communicable and other diseases;
  • epidemiological analysis and mathematical modelling of cause-effect relations between natural-climatic conditions and functional state of patients with increased meteosensitivity;
  • scientific validation of criteria for assessing the effectiveness of personalized programmes based on the use of natural therapeutic resources in patients with diseases of the circulatory system and respiratory organs in sanatoria and spas;
  • development and improvement of methodology and criteria for assessing the quality of natural therapeutic resources and their effective use for the purpose of sanatorium and spa treatment;
  • scientific validation of the effectiveness of physical factors, including drinking water for the treatment and prevention of metabolic syndrome;
  • development of applied information technologies for the application of personalized treatment programmes based on the use of natural therapeutic resources in patients from sanatoria and spas in various climatic and geographical zones;
  • development of algorithms for personalized programmes based on the use of natural therapeutic resources for patients with increased meteosensitivity receiving spa treatment;
  • development and maintenance of information databases regarding the impact of natural and climatic conditions on the health of patients in sanatoria and spas located in different climatic zones;
  • development and scientific validation of recommendations for regulatory and methodological documents in the field of the use of natural therapeutic resources in sanatorium and spa locations.
