Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, paid working visits to Kemerovo and Tomsk Regions. To assess the organization of medical care for the population, specialists from the National Medical Centre for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Russian Ministry of Health also travelled to the regions. Together with the Minister they visited a number of medical institutions. In Kemerovo they visited S.V. Belyaev Kuzbass Regional Clinical Hospital. As a member of the delegation, Anatoly Fesyun, Acting Director of NMRC for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, learned about the work of the surgical and intensive care service. In Tomsk, the delegation of FSBI "NMRC RB" of the Russian Ministry of Health visited the regional vascular centre of Tomsk Regional Clinical Hospital. At the end of the working visits, meetings were held in the regions, when specialists of the Centre presented reports to the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation on the pressing issues of medical rehabilitation in the Kemerovo and Tomsk regions.

"Over the past 2023, significant progress has been made in Kemerovo region regarding the provision of medical care in the area of medical rehabilitation. Special mention should be made of "I.A. Kolpinsky Clinical Consultative and Diagnostic Centre", where the rehabilitation process is effectively organized, and a project that received a presidential grant, "Together Against Stroke: A School of Rehabilitation at Home", is being implemented. In addition, it is worth highlighting "Kuzbass Clinical Hospital for War Veterans", which provides treatment and rehabilitation not only for veterans of the special military operation, but also for their family members. They have managed to build an excellent working system of interdepartmental interaction regarding the accounting and provision of medical care," said Anatoly Fesyun, Dr. Sci. Medicine, Associate Professor, Acting Director of the National Medical Centre for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
