Medical rehabilitation department for patients with somatic diseases No. 2

The department offers:
  • individual and group exercise sessions, physiotherapy using modern techniques, exercise therapy using training simulators with biofeedback, robotic mechanotherapy on block training simulators, manual therapy, cardiorespiratory exercises, therapeutic massage, hardware massage, balneotherapy;
  • training of patients who have lost self-care skills, daily monitoring of their physical condition;
  • daily monitoring of the effectiveness and safety of rehabilitation measures and, if necessary, adjustment of the personal programmes;
  • evaluation of the physical status of patients with various diseases and the development of personalized recommendations for the development of healthy lifestyles and self-care skills;
  • restoring the quality of life that has changed as a result of the effects of various diseases;
  • maintaining the health of the adult population at an optimum level for them.

The department has a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, which draws up a patient-centered programme based on laboratory and instrumental examinations, the physical status of the patient.

The doctors of the Department carry out the necessary tests to diagnose your physical condition, such as:
  • a 6-minute walking test with a cardiorespiratory check;
  • evaluation of the musculoskeletal system (testing the strength endurance of the main muscle groups under static and dynamic loads, diagnosis of spinal flexibility and the amount of movement in the major joints);
  • body composition evaluation;
  • balance evaluation by means of stabilometry and functional tests.

The results obtained after the examination allow our specialists to select physical exercises, estimate the possible amount of load, and form highly effective personalized medical rehabilitation and exercise programmes.
